RTI at OPGCI

Under the Right to Information Act, 2005, every citizen has the right to request information from public authorities. OPGCI, as a public sector institution, is committed to proactive disclosure and timely response to RTI applications within the statutory period of 30 days.

Application Process

  1. Identify the information sought (specific and clear)
  2. Fill RTI application form (online or Form-A offline)
  3. Pay application fee of ₹10 (online payment / IPO / court fee stamp)
  4. Submit to CPIO at OPGCI HQ or respective regional PIO
  5. Receive information within 30 days (48 hours for life/liberty matters)
  6. File first appeal within 30 days if dissatisfied

Proactive Disclosure

As per Section 4 of RTI Act, the following information is proactively disclosed: RTI Guidelines (PDF), Annual Reports, Organisation Structure, Tenders & Publications, and Recruitment Notices.

Citizen's Right to Information

The Right to Information Act, 2005 empowers every citizen to seek information from public authorities. OPGCI is committed to proactive disclosure and timely response to all RTI applications within the statutory period of 30 days.

What information can I request?

Any information held by OPGCI in record form — policies, decisions, expenditure, recruitment, project reports and citizen service data (subject to exemptions under Section 8).

What is the application fee?

Rs. 10 for central government applications. BPL applicants are exempt from fee payment.
