How to apply for Recruitment 2026

  1. Read this page in full. Do not rely on social-media summaries.
  2. Register on the official application portal with a valid email and mobile number.
  3. Fill one post code only. Upload photograph, signature and prescribed documents in the specified size.
  4. Pay the examination fee online on or before 30/09/2026.
  5. Download the application confirmation. Admit card for the November 2026 CBT will be issued later on the same portal.

Eligibility, reservation and examination scheme

Recruitment 2026 is a direct recruitment exercise of a Government of India public-sector institution. Essential qualifications, age (18–30 years with GoI relaxation), and medical standards shall be as in the detailed advertisement. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen follows Government of India policy. The Computer Based Test is tentatively scheduled in November 2026; city, shift and session will appear only on the admit card. Only two post codes are notified: OPGCI-DEO (CBT + Skill Test + DV) and OPGCI-MTS (CBT + DV).

Current Vacancies — 385 Posts

In pursuance of manpower requirements for public governance, citizen services, communication and information management at OPGCI (established 1987, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions), 385 posts (DEO 137 + MTS 248) are to be filled through open competitive Computer Based Test (CBT). A candidate must apply against only one post for which he/she fully satisfies essential qualification and age limits. Vacancies are provisional; OPGCI reserves the right to increase, decrease or cancel any post without assigning reason.
